Learn the Bible Through the Eyes of a Rabbi. Rabbi Michael Mayersohn
Rabbi Michael Mayersohn has studied Bible for over 30 years. After being a congregational leader in synagogue life for 25 years, Rabbi Mayersohn made a decision that would take him through a journey of a lifetime.
He began teaching classes to Christians at St. Cecilia, a Catholic Church in Tustin, California. The response and enthusiasm of people was amazing and he realized there was a ministry in teaching Christians about the Jewish roots of their faith and Jewish interpretations of sacred scripture.
In the ensuing years Rabbi Michael has taught at nearly 30 churches in Southern California and Arizona. In 2010 he was invited to speak at The Religious Education Congress sponsored by the Los Angeles Arch Diocese and will be teaching at the REC again 2011. Nearly 1,400 people attended his two workshops at the Anaheim Convention Center in March.
Rabbi Michael also co-led Bible study trips to Israel. The 50 participants visited biblical sites throughout Israel and learned about the stories and the places where they happened.
